Looking to get into running but have no solid plans? The Couch to 5km phenomenon is well regarded as one of the best ways to start running and is ideal for beginners. The idea behind the program is to start off slowly and build momentum as the weeks progress. This way you will avoid injuries and it will also keep you motivated to continue with your new found running habit!
At Fota Island Resort we have developed a Couch To 5km course so that you can run with other like-minded people and enjoy getting fit as part of a group.
Commencing Tuesday the 8th of March, training will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm. This 8-week training course is perfect for those looking to complete their first 5k. Price is €40 and the places are limited. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place.
