The Easter period is always a joyous time of the year when the Irish countryside is gradually sprinkled with the wide ranging colours of spring which marks the end of those chilly winter months. At Fota Island Resort, we aim to provide a range of packages and activities to help create perfect family breaks in Ireland or, alternatively, short hotel breaks in Cork. The highlight of the Easter activities at the 5 star hotel in Ireland, will be Camp Fota which takes place between Saturday, 28th March, until Saturday, 11th April.
For the younger members of the family, the Day Camp will be suitable for children aged between 4 & 11 years which will run from 10.00 until 14.30 from Monday, 30th March, until Friday, 10th April (excluding Easter Sunday). Camp Fota will include a range of activities such as Treasure hunts, nature trails, tennis tournaments, mini golf games, easter arts and crafts, Camp Fota bake-off, soccer games, science experiments, Camp Fota’s got talent and much much more.
A full schedule of activities will soon be available to view on www.fotaisland.ie. All activities will be supervised by experienced and suitably qualified Camp Fota staff, and will be based at our Camp Fota lodge on the resort. Cost is €10 per day for kids of residents of the resorts. Non-residents €20 per child. Sibling discounts available.
Evening Activities will run from Saturday, 28th March, until Saturday, 11th April, (excluding Easter Sunday). The schedule for the evening activities will be as follows:
Cost for evening activities is €15 for supervised buffet plus camp or €10 camp only. No sibling discounts for this. Evening activities are not open to non-residents.
On Easter Sunday , the main event will be the Mad Hatter’s Easter Tea Party which takes place in the ball room at the luxury hotel near Cork. This will include Egg Riddle Hunt, lawn games, mad hat making, other crafts and sports activities led by our Camp Fota staff plus chance to meet Alice and her friends for an Easter Wonderland adventure! Residents of the hotel and five star resort in Ireland plus those availing of our luxury holiday rentals are only eligible for these activities.
