Fota Island Resort will be hosting a very special Christmas concert on the 10th December with all proceeds going to the HOPE Foundation. This exclusive event will see the multi award-winning classical singer, Amanda Neri, return to the 5 Star Fota Island Hotel in Cork for a night of great entertainment in good cause.
The event will be sponsored by Ronan Daly Jermyn with guests receiving a warm festive welcome in the form of a mulled wine reception accompanied by seasonal bites, before relaxing into an evening of fabulous musical entertainment. That won’t be all… with some fantastic spot prizes on offer such as an elegant Daniel Wellington watch donated by Keane’s Jewellers, and Wedgewood Frames kindly donated by The Kilkenny Shop.
Amanda won’t be performing alone at the East Cork venue and will be supported by some equally wonderful support from the likes of soprano Laura Yanez, violinist Brian Murphy, The Castlelyons Gospel Choir, The Cork East Male Voice Choir and Nadya Deeny.
Amanda Neri was recently named as an official HOPE Ambassador and it is planned that both Amanda and HOPE will work together on some exciting plans for 2016, which HOPE are very excited about. Amanda welcomed the announcement by stating:
“I’m honoured and excited to support HOPE and the life giving work they do. The individual stories I’ve heard are shocking, yet it is so inspiring to see how HOPE can lift a child out of darkness and give them what they need to thrive – protection, security and a future.”
Places for this special event are limited so advanced booking is recommended for the concert on Thursday, 10th December, starting at 7.30 p.m at Fota Island Hotel near Cork.
Tickets cost €25 and are available at www.hopefoundation.ie/shop or phone: 021 4292990.
