This winter sees the return of one of our favourite seasonal activities as ice skating comes back to Cork. Cork’s Alpine Skate Trail will be set among the trees in Fota House, providing a stunning backdrop which offers an authentic rustic feeling and a real festive mood.
Just minutes from Cork city, it really is the perfect location for an ice rink, where you can enjoy the cheerful atmosphere amongst beautiful grounds.
As well as the main trail itself, there will also be a small rink for younger skaters and a great selection of refreshments and other activities, which will make the overall experience a great destination for families and groups of all ages.
The Alpine Skate Trail is open from Thursday 12th November until Sunday 23rd January 2022, with sessions starting at 10.00am and the last session is at 8.30pm. Tickets are available online at www.iceskating.ie, with limited early bird tickets on sale from 30th September for all sessions.
