Following in our series of Open competitions to coincide with major Open tournaments this week from Thursday, 18th – Sunday 21st July in celebration of the 142nd Open Championship in Muirfield, Scotland we will be, as part of our Major series, holding our very own Open Singles completion
Taking place on our Deerpark Course, our Fota Island Golf Club Cork is the place for golfers to be this week, as for just €35 per golfer (€20 for members) you too could be emulating your hero’s as you attempt to become the overall champion and winner of a new set of tailor made irons!
Then once the hard work is done on the greens and the fairways, we invite you to relax in the Spike Bar, where you can enjoy some seriously good Scottish themed cuisine from the chefs of our Cork Restaurants, including kippers with sautéed curly kale and creamed potatoes, as well as Scotch pie with rumbledethumps and cranachan for afters.
With sunshine predicted for the week, our very own Open Singles competition to be enjoyed and a champion menu to match, there really is no need to leave Ireland to enjoy the Majors, as the Fota Island Golf Hotel Cork brings a bit of the Masters to you!
