This year sees the Cork Simon Community celebrate the 15th Crystal Anniversary of the Cork Simon Ball. The charity ball is regarded as one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the social scene of 2015 in Cork, which has evolved into a corporate event over the years, becoming a sell-out event over the past few years. This year’s Ball will take place in one of the luxury function rooms at Fota Island Resort on Friday, 27th March 2015.
The Crystal Ball is the Cork Simon’s flagship fundraising event which has helped to generate significant funds in supports of the charity’s ongoing services over the past 14 years. Due to the generosity of associate sponsors, every Euro raised at this year’s Ball at one of the leading hotels near Cork, Fota Island Resort, is guaranteed to go directly to supporting the homeless of Cork.
As always, the Cork Simon Community are delighted to welcome dignitaries such as the Lord Mayor, local Cork Ministers and political party leaders to the event and a collection of Cork’s best known companies support the event each year. Last year’s event saw Minister Simon Coveney, Minister Kathleen Lynch and Michael Martin TD make an appearance at the Cork Simon Ball.
