Fota Island Golf Club was been ranked in the 2017 Golf Digest Volvo Top 100 best courses in Ireland once again. The results are compiled following a very comprehensive review process of Irish golf courses which was undertaken by selected readers of The Golf Digest over the past twelve months. These reviews combined with the opinions of a specialist panel in a two-day workshop were used to draw up the final list which you can view at www.golfdigesttop100.ie

As one of the leading championship golf clubs in Cork, Fota Island has remained a firm favourite with seasoned golfers and overseas visitors alike. The golf club boasts three championship golf course configurations which include the original Deerpark (Par 71), Belvelly (Par 72) and Barryscourt (Par 73). Fota Island has been host to a number of high profile events over the course of its history including the 2001, 2002 and 2014 Irish Open.
