Well it appears spring has finally come upon us and if last week was anything to go by, then it looks like there may be a silver lining to the harsh winter we have had, as it looks like summer may come early judging by the beautiful sunny few days we have been experiencing. It is often when the sun comes out and the air gets a nice spring and summer feel, that one feels the need to get out and about and take in the many scenic delights of the surrounding countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also the time when we often stop to notice the many undiscovered delights just within our reach in the surrounding areas just outside of Cork City and our Cork Hotel.

If the last few spring days may have had one thinking about heading to the nearest beach or scenic coastal region and taking advantage of the uncharacteristically fine days with a lunchtime break and drive out the city then why not consider the many scenic locations with their own attractions and restaurants close at hand to Cork City.
